In response to the need to be able to serve more individuals, we are currently in Phase One of our capital campaign, having raised over $4 million toward our $6 million goal. In 2018, we acquired 25.45 acres on South Hartmann Drive, maintaining a debt-free status. Since then, we’ve received donated surveying and site work, extended sewer access to the property, and secured site-plan approval. In 2023, we were thrilled to announce a generous $1 million anonymous donation, and in 2024, a builder graciously offered $500,000 worth of in-kind contributions by volunteering his time and expertise. We celebrated these milestones with a groundbreaking ceremony for the first building in Phase One this past September.
Our continued focus is to raise additional funds for Phase One, which includes the development of an Education Building with activity and gathering spaces designed to enhance our current programs. This phase will also feature an outdoor pavilion, soccer field, bocce courts, and a driving range with a putting area. Following Phase One, we will move forward with Phase Two, which will involve the construction of a 37,000-square-foot Community Recreation Building and Sports Complex. The Sports Complex will include a Splash Pad, an Adaptive Playground, a Covered Sports Court, a Miracle League Baseball Field, and a Garden of Dreams featuring accessible planter boxes and outdoor musical instruments designed for specialized activities. This is our DREAM!
