There are various external businesses, support services and organizations that assist individuals with special needs and their families. Below are some valuable resources.
Katie Beckett Program

Tennessee’s Katie Beckett program is for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs. This program is for children who are not Medicaid eligible because of their parent’s income or assets. This program has two parts, A and B, and will provide services and/or help pay for medical care that private insurance does not cover.
ARC’s Family Support Program

ARC’s Family Support is a state funded grant that provides financial assistance for families who have a family member with a disability. The Arc Davidson County & Greater Nashville administers the Family Support grant for Davidson & Wilson Counties.
Tennessee Caregiver Coalition
The Tennessee Caregiver Coalition provides resources that enable caregivers to reclaim a little piece of themselves and restore balance to their lives and relationships.
